Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree. [For Post Code No. 08: Preference shall be given to those who possess in addition to any of the following qualifications “A Post Graduate Degree in Law (or) PG Degree in Social Work with specialization in Labour Welfare and Personnel Management/ Industrial Labour Relations.

Age (As on 01/07/16):
  • For Deputy Supdt. of Police (Civil): 21 – 30 years
  • Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent: 28 years
  • For all other posts: 42 years

Application Fee: Rs.250/-

Examination Fee: Rs.120/-. SC, ST, BC, PH, Ex-Service Men, White Card holders (Residents of Andhra Pradesh) and Un-employed youth in the age group of 18 to 42 years as per G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Ser-A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 are exempted from payment of fee.

Negative Marks: As per G.O.Ms.No.235, Finance (HR-I, Plg & Policy) Dept., Dt.: 06/12/2016, for each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question.
